Valve Traceability & Export Packaging Upgrade

2025-09-09

We are standardizing traceability and export packaging for every valve part we ship. The new valve marking system links each valve to its heat number and batch, while the consolidated documents and labels speed valve receiving and audits.

Traceability

  • Permanent valve marking on non-sealing zones: Part No. / Heat No. / Batch / Date, matched to the drawing and revision.

  • Document pack: EN 10204 3.1 MTC, inspection sheet in mm (inch on request), packing list with net/gross weight, pallet map; hardness/NDT if specified.

  • Outer case labels include item, drawing rev, quantity, and heat range to speed valve receiving and put-away.

Protection & packaging

  • Carbon steel valve components (e.g., A105): light anti-rust oil + VCI paper + sealed poly bag to keep the valve surface clean and dry.

  • Stainless components (304/316L/CF8M): cleaned, bagged, isolated; no oil on gasket or sealing faces of any valve part.

  • Edge protection for machined edges, raised faces, and seat contact areas prevents valve nicks during transit.

  • Moisture control: desiccants and humidity cards inside IPPC-stamped plywood cases; photo evidence of each layer before case closure.

Benefits

  • Clear lot-to-heat linkage for each valve component.

  • Lower risk of rust or dents on critical faces; fewer issues in assembly and test.

  • Faster receiving and audit thanks to unified labels and documents.

How to engage

Share barcode formats, pallet limits, or special instructions for your valve parts. For humid or coastal routes, request extra VCI wraps to further reduce corrosion risk.
