Forged Steel Valve Body with Flanged Bonnet (Matching Parts 8 inch ball valve)

This structure is used for ball valve, playing the role of pressure and connection. The two pieces are matched for use, through-hole, flange surface, bolt hole alignment is accurate. Suitable for medium and high pressure pipelines. Commonly used in petrochemical, steam, thermal energy and water systems.

Material and treatment

- Material: A105 carbon steel forgings, Special austenitic stainless steels such as 316 304 stainless steel, 304L / 316Ti and 2205 duplex can be used, or customized according to customer requirements.

- Condition: hot forging + finishing

- Heat treatment: normalized or tempered as required

- Surface: anti-rust oil coating, optional phosphating or spraying.

Valve Body & Bonnet

Valve Body

- Overall forging, compact structure

- Center aperture, stop positioning according to the drawing.

- Flange end RF structure, roughness Ra 3.2~6.3 µm.

- The distribution of threaded holes (M or UNC) is according to the standard layout.

Bonnet

- The flange structure is the same as the valve body.

- The concentricity of the mounting surface and the matching holes are well matched.

- The upper end can be processed according to the drawings, such as guide groove and limit hole.

Matching precision & Common specification range

Matching precision

- Bore and stop: generally controlled in H7/h7

- Flange face runout: ≤0.05 mm

- Flange surface flatness: ≤ 0.1 mm (150 pressure)

Common specification range

- Through-hole diameter: DN20 ~ DN100

- Outside diameter range: Ø90 ~ Ø300 mm

- Number of holes: 4 holes / 8 holes / 12 holes

- Pressure class: Class 150 / 300 / 600 / 900 / 1500 / 2500

Installation instructions & Notes

Installation instructions

- Recommended to use metal-wound gasket or graphite gasket.

- Tighten the bolts by applying force in diagonal sections.

- Check the mating holes for burrs or foreign objects before assembly.

- If welding is involved, stress relief should be done after welding.

Notes

- Can be processed according to customer's drawing.

- Provide material certificate (EN10204 3.1).

- We can provide the whole set of valve body, valve cover, valve stem, valve seat and other structural parts.
