Forged Steel Valve Body (Machined Part)

This valve body is the main pressure-bearing component of control valves in industrial pipeline systems. Machined from high quality forged steel, it features high structural strength and is suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure and frequent opening and closing working conditions. It is commonly found in the assembly of ball valves, globe valves and control valves in industries such as petroleum, natural gas, chemical engineering and power stations.

Materials and Implementation Standards

- Material: High quality forged steel, Special austenitic stainless steels such as 316 304 stainless steel, 304L / 316Ti and 2205 duplex can be used, or customized according to customer requirements.

- Status: Hot forging + normalizing (available as required)

Execution standard: ASTM A105 / ASME B16.34 / EN 10222-2

Structural Parameters

The main body is an integral solid forging, formed by rough turning and fine turning

The center through hole and stop mouth are processed according to the drawing. The through hole often has a chamfer or R Angle

It features a flange structure at both ends, with one end often machined with threaded holes or countersunk holes for positioning bolts

- Flange type: RF (Raised Face) or MFM (Male-Female)

Processing and Dimensional Accuracy

Key dimensions (such as inner holes and stop mouths) are controlled in accordance with the tolerances on the drawings, generally H7/h7 or as per customer requirements

- Coaxiality ≤ 0.03mm, end face perpendicularity ≤ 0.05mm (adjusted according to different diameters)

The distribution of threaded holes is arranged as shown in the drawing, and the thread standards support UNC, UNF, M, etc

The roughness of the flange surface is generally controlled within Ra 3.2 to 6.3 µm

It is recommended to use standard gaskets (such as metal wound gaskets) to ensure the sealing performance of the flange

The fastening bolts should be pre-tightened evenly in a diagonal sequence to avoid uneven pressure

Before installation, it should be confirmed that there are no foreign objects or burrs in the mating holes to avoid affecting positioning

Optional Services

The material furnace number and material certificate (EN 10204 3.1) can be attached.

Non-standard structures and processing requirements can be customized according to customer drawings

The surface can be coated with an anti-rust coating as required (such as zinc-based phosphating).
